At Charter House in Lusaka on 13^th January 2026, Ms. Etambuyu Anamela Gundersen, Permanent Secretary for International Relations and Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Mr. Ilyaas Sherally, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Zambia.

Discussions focused on enhancing and strengthening the existing cooperation, partnership, and bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms. Gundersen reaffirmed that Zambia attaches great importance to its longstanding partnership with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which has remained consistent, principled and forward looking.
