At Charter House today, 6^th January, 2026, Ms. Etambuyu Anamela Gundersen, Permanent Secretary for International Relations and Cooperation received Mr.  Wang Sheng, the Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister Counselor, from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to discuss matters of mutual interest between the two countries, including collaboration at the multilateral level.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest aimed at further strengthening the long-standing and cordial relations between Zambia and China.

The Permanent Secretary reaffirmed the Government’s consistent support for the One China Policy.

Zambia emphasized that its position remains a key pillar of the enduring partnership and cooperation between the two countries.
