Hon. Mulambo Haimbe Urges Greater Collaboration Between Africa and Korea
Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, SC, M.P, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation attended the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs at the Inaugural Korea-Africa Summit, in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
In his intervention statement during the meeting, Hon. Haimbe underscored the need to seize the opportunity to foster greater collaboration and mutual understanding between Korea and Africa. The Minister emphasised that the challenges faced by respective countries should be a priority while exploring new avenues for partnerships and growth.
The meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs preceded the Korea-Africa Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will be held from 4th to 5th June, 2024, under the theme: “The Future We Make Together: Shared Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity.”
Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia will be represented by Hon. Haimbe at the Summit.
